Just spent a few days at Angkor Zen Gardens retreat and I would highly recommend this absolutely beautiful retreat to everyone
The gardens and setting are magical, the pool is superb, the food was delicious and nutritious , the yoga instructors are world class. A lot of love and energy have been poured into this place it is well kept well organized – a Shangri-La not to be missedBrenda
I spent few days there to get introduced to the benefits of yoga.
What an amazing experience. The program is very well settled all along the day. The teachers are great. They really care about you. The garden is beautiful…I stayed in a wooden bungalow, simple but very comfortable. I confirm that the food is excellent and the staff is always attentive to make it easy for you. I really appreciated the community spirit. People come from all over the world and it’s a great place to bond with like minded people. I spent one morning to visit the temple. They kindly organized for me the tuk tuk with a tour guide.
Thank you to all of you and I definitely recommended your placeHeather
Angkor zen garden is for sure the best place in Siem Reap! The vegetarian food is very tasty, fresh cooked every meal by a smiling and happy team.
Yoga and meditation are given every day to guide everybody to do its best. The room is nice, comfortable and you can feel close to nature.
The garden is so beautiful with it is salted swimming pool that I seem to be a part of Eden.
So really I am very impatient to go back there to fill my energy pack and find peace!Fabienne
The location is very convenient if you are travelling from Siem Reap. We were picked up from our hostel and taken to the retreat no problem.
The retreat has done an excellent job of providing a calm and relaxing space. I was in awe of the beautiful diversity of life in the gardens, particularly the large and colourful butterflies. The dogs and cats made the stay even better as they were so friendly.
There were many classes to choose from throughout the day which offered a variety of styles of yoga and meditation. All the teachers were excellent, patient and knowledgeable about what they were teaching. I enjoyed learning about the background to everything we were doing.
The food was incredible and varied for each meal. All the vegetables were so fresh and it was the best tofu I have ever had.
Marc, the manager was very attentive and he made me feel right at ease as soon as we arrived. He always made sure we had everything we needed. I particularly liked having the option of taking the bikes into town at any point – which we did. I would recommend this place for anyone looking for a place to relax and practice yoga.Maggie
I stayed here for three days to relax and nourish my body and mind.
The grounds are very lush and peaceful (besides the monks in the nearby village who chant quite early in the morning!).
My favourite part was the food – so healthy and delicious and I loved the convenience of having all my meals prepared for me.
All the staff and guests were very friendly and helpful. I really enjoyed the communal spirit of the retreat.
I felt so good after my three days here! Next time I’d like to do a longer stay. I would recommend trying to take advantage of as many classes as you can during your stay, as the retreat is somewhat far from the town centre and some tuk tuk drivers couldn’t find the place easily. Marc is very helpful with organising transport for you, though.
All in all I had a lovely time here and would definitely recommend it!Tiffany
A wonderful stay for a week retreat in bucolic environment and so close to amazing Angkor, highly recommended! Practical and at the same time very simple, the center offers everything needed for a serene yoga retreat from intensive yoga to swimming pool and excellent food. Organizing trips and getting to know the country is very easy with the help of Bruno and Mark, respectively the owner and the manager. I will definitely return!Camille
